Classic Chicken Puffs

Ingredients

(6 oz.) long grain and wild rice

boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
|
|
1/2 |
can |
(10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
|
|
1/3 |
cup |
green onions, chopped
|
|
1/3 |
cup |
diced pimento or diced sweet red pepper
|
|
1/3 |
cup |
diced celery
|
|
1/3 |
cup |
fresh parsley, chopped
|
|
1/3 |
cup |
chopped slivered almonds
|
|
1/4 |
cup |
milk
|
|

pkg. |
(10 oz.) frozen puff pastry shells, thawed
|
|
Directions:
Prepare rice according to package directions. When rice is done, add remaining ingredients (except pastry shells). Mix well. Reheat 1 minute. Fill pastry shells with rice mixture.
Serve with a mixed green salad and balsamic vinaigrette if desired. Refrigerate leftovers immediately.
